Saint Joseph Parish School Graduation Mass and Ceremony

They’re off to high school! Celebrate our 8th graders and their accomplishments at our 8th Grade Graduation. We have planned several events that you and your families can join in within the confines of social distancing guidelines.

9:00 AM: We will begin our day with a live stream of Mass lead by Father Todd. Mr. Wenzel, Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Richards will be there to participate in the liturgy while you watch with your family from home.

Following Mass, Mr. Wenzel, Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Richards will host a short Zoom meeting with a message to our 8th graders. Father Todd will join us to lead a blessing before you sit down to enjoy a continental breakfast, which will be delivered to your door. You will also receive a link to a very special video tribute showcasing our 8th graders throughout the years.

7:00 PM: Graduation ceremony from the Issaquah campus parking lot!
We had to get creative while adhering to the current conditions. Your family will have a designated area to park and will be spaced the appropriate distance. We must limit each household to one car, per the guidelines we were given. On this evening we will honor many of the traditions that have been a part of graduation in the past, including the presentation of awards, student speeches, and of course the conferral of diplomas.
Since we are unable to hold an actual reception, we will deliver dessert “to go” to your car and send you off with a musical finale.

We can’t wait to celebrate this special time with you all and we look forward to seeing you!

Kind regards,
Wayne Wenzel
