The Bible Timeline
Wednesdays | 6:30 – 8pm | Fr. McGirl Hall | Starting Sept 17
An In-Depth Exploration of Salvation History
The Bible Timeline® study program takes you on a guided journey through salvation history. Presenter Jeff Cavins will show you how fourteen of the Bible’s narrative books tell the biblical story from beginning to end and will give you the keys to understanding the amazing story woven throughout Scripture.
The Bible Timeline will teach you how to read and understand the entire Bible and introduce you to the wonderful narrative of Scripture in a way that will transform your life.
We won't be using the student books that go along with this program, but they are a great resource if you'd like to purchase your own. They can be purchased through the Ascension Press website.
There is a $30 fee for the class that helps us cover the expense of running it. Scholarships are available as needed. If you have any questions or need more information on scholarships, please contact Mary Williams at mwilliams@sjcissaquah.org.
Matthew: The King and His Kingdom
Thursdays | 10:30am - 12pm | Bl. Carlo Acutis Room | Starting Sept 18
Matthew: The King and His Kingdom shows how Jesus fulfills God’s promises to Israel and establishes his kingdom on earth. Through references to the Old Testament promises of God to his people and the messages God sent them through the prophets, this Bible study provides the key to understanding the rest of the New Testament and Christ as the fulfillment of God’s plan.
Matthew portrays Jesus as the true King who fulfills the Law the people of Israel have failed to keep and who introduces the new law that will accompany the New Covenant. In this 24-part study of Matthew’s Gospel, Jeff Cavins explains how Jesus is challenging and empowering us to a new level of holiness and shows how we must be thoroughly immersed in the kingdom of heaven on earth, the Church, to live it.

Adult Confirmation
Oct 25, Dec 6, & Jan 10 | 9am – 1pm | Fr. McGirl Hall
Confirmation deepens our baptismal life that calls us to be missionary witnesses of Jesus Christ in our families, neighborhoods, society, and the world. . . . We receive the message of faith in a deeper and more intensive manner with great emphasis given to the person of Jesus Christ, who asked the Father to give the Holy Spirit to the Church for building up the community in loving service (United States Catholic Catechism for Adults).
If you missed Confirmation as a youth, now is the time to be Confirmed. Confirmation stirs into life the gifts of the Spirit you were given at Baptism, giving you the grace to support and live out your vocation more fully.
In order to be Confirmed through our adult Confirmation program, you need to:
· Be at least 18 years old and no longer in High School
· Have Been Baptized and received First Communion in the Catholic Church
· Attend the Saturday Seminars (we highly encourage you to attend all three, but you must attend at least two of them).
