Wednesday, July 14th at 5:00pm in Fr. McGirl Hall (Investiture to follow at the 6pm Mass)

In conjunction with the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel that same week, join pastoral assistant Alex Nelson for a class on the Brown Scapular, a great sacramental of Marian Devotion and Consecration.  Investiture and Enrollment in the Confraternity of the Brown Scapular will follow by Fr. Todd at the Wednesday evening Mass.

Our Lady’s promise for those that wear the Brown Scapular (given to St. Simon Stock on July 16, 1251.) - “Whoever dies invested with this Scapular shall be preserved from the eternal flames. It is a sign of salvation, a sure safeguard in danger, a pledge of peace and of my special protection until the end of the ages.”
