Archbishop J. Peter Sartain and auxiliary bishops Eusebio Elizondo and Daniel Mueggenborg invite all the faithful to join in this service in which we will pray for all victims of clergy sexual abuse, ask forgiveness for the sins of action and inaction on the part of Church leaders, and pray for the renewal the Church needs to protect the vulnerable and proclaim Christ’s Gospel with transparency and integrity.

This service will mark the beginning of a NOVENA OF PRAYER TO MARY, MOTHER OF THE CHURCH throughout the Archdiocese of Seattle.

All are encouraged to join in the novena, beginning on the evening of October 4, and concluding with the weekend Masses on October 13 and 14.
